Can you name three female inventors? It’s not easy. It doesn’t help that only 7% of US patents are held by women. To tackle this problem we did two things: First, we celebrated the amazing inventions women have made to give girls role models. Second, we launched a patent program for young women that gives them the guidance and funding to get patents.

This campaign won a Silver Cyber Lion and was shortlisted for a Glass Lion for Change at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Other honors the campaign received were the UNDPI Grand Prize New York International Advertising Festivals & United Nations Award, two D&AD Impact Pencils for Industry Evolution and Community, and the I.P. (Intellectual Property) Champions Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce- which has nothing to do with advertising- but is a very cool unexpected honor. 

It was featured in Creativity's "Best of 2016" and Adweek's year-end roundup of most engaging content.
It was also part of Campaign's first ever I&C Disruptors List, which honors brands and agencies taking inclusivity and creativity seriously.
